About CP
Here are some facts about CP that you can share with others, or just read over so you can learn more about what CP does.
  • CP has been a part of the community for 71 years!
  • CP provides services for more than 2,100 infants, children and adults every year throughout 14 counties.
  • CP is an independent non-profit organization, not affiliated with any national group. Money raised in the area stays in the area.
  • CP helps people with a variety of conditions, not only Cerebral Palsy. Other conditions include Down syndrome, seizure disorders, autism, spina bifida and traumatic brain injuries. Some clients have rare and even undiagnosed conditions.
  • Adult Day Services is CP’s largest program, serving 200 adults in Green Bay and locations in Kimberly and Two Rivers.
  • CP’s physical, speech and occupational therapy programs hold approximately 300 weekly appointments, a majority of which are for children. Many children use more than one therapy discipline.
  • CP Early Education & Care is an inclusive childcare program where kids with and without disabilities learn and play together.
  • CP’s Aquatic Center has two warm water therapy pools and is used by all CP program areas and is open to the public for independent exercise, swim lessons and other activities.

Helpful Hints
  • Start by making your own personal donation on your fundraising page.
  • Thank and tag people who donate to your fundraising page on social. Sample post: Thanks NAME for donating to my VIP fundraising page for the CP Telethon. You are helping to make a difference in the lives of so many people, right here in our area!
  • If someone is unable to donate, ask if they would be willing to share your VIP fundraising page on their feed and with friends and family.
  • Looking for alternatives to asking for a direct donation? Host a social gathering and ask friends to bring a donation instead of a dish to pass. Or, offer up a challenge: "If I get $100 in donation by the end of the day, I'll do 100 pushups!"
